  • Emiley’s therapeutic approach is eclectic, integrating creative expression with evidence-based modalities to support emotional regulation, identity development, and relational healing. Emiley’s work is grounded in client-centered, somatic, and systems-informed practices – acknowledging the complex social, cultural, and familial dynamics that shape individual experiences. Emiley is committed to creating affirming, strengths-based spaces where clients feel seen and empowered.

  • Emiley is a registered dance/movement therapist and licensed school counselor with specialized training in creative arts therapies, trauma-informed care, and social-emotional development. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, African American Studies, and Dance/Choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University, a master’s in Counseling and Dance/Movement Therapy from Drexel University, and a postgraduate certificate in School Counseling from UNC Charlotte.

  • Emiley brings extensive clinical experience across a range of settings, including community behavioral health, inpatient psychiatric care, and K - 12 schools. Her primary treatment focus hovers on supporting adults moving through life transitions and children and their families, offering psychoeducational support around developmental disorders and guiding adults and caregiving systems in fostering emotional and behavioral growth.

  • Outside of her clinical work, Emiley owns a handmade jewelry business and enjoys spending time with her loved ones and pets.
