Lindsay teams with clients to find creative and committed ways to kindle healing and design sustainable wellness. In sessions, Lindsay likes to create a culture of groundedness, safety, humor, creativity, open-mindedness, insight-gathering, growth-seeking, practicality, and deep trustworthiness. Lindsay’s clients witness her passion and dedication in session - she’s willing to move, improvise, and get raw alongside them, while having an overall calming effect on their nervous systems through deep emotional attunement. Lindsay is clinically trained in Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), Dance/movement Therapy (BC-DMT) and Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C). Her clinical perspective is shaped through theories such as: systems, attachment, humanist, anti -oppression, feminist and trauma-informed.
Lindsay often likens psychotherapy to physical therapy - it can be acutely painful and cause you to notice other systemic issues that need tending to. But with a unique treatment plan, clients should experience a progressive healing process that leads to sustainably better health. -
Lindsay (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Board-Certified Dance/movement Therapist (BC-DMT), with additional certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C).
Lindsay is currently training through ICEEFT to obtain her Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy Certification (EFCT).
