Couples Therapist, Creative Arts Therapies Specialist
Company Description
Arts in Counseling (AiC) is an outpatient private practice that offers creative arts therapies across the lifespan, arts-in-health projects, organizational trainings and community creative health initiatives. We are at an exciting juncture of relocating from Hatboro, PA to Wyncote, PA in the historically remodeled original Wyncote Elementary School house. It's a neighborhood setting and we will be sharing the building with a woman-owned family orthodontics practice (Wyncote Orthodontics). We will have full creative arts therapies studios to offer clinical work + arts-in-health initiatives (workshops, groups, trainings, series). We are seeking a part-time or full-time entrepreneurial Music Therapist to join our team!
Requirements
Must be Licensed or Pre-licensed as Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage & Family Therapist or Psychologist
Must have training as a creative arts therapist (art therapist, dance/movement therapist, drama therapist, music therapist)
Must work at our on-site location in Wyncote, PA.
Must be available to onboard December 2026 and begin clinical work January 2027.
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and uphold inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive practices.
Participate in insurance credentialing process

Role Description
The couples therapist will provide clinical therapy + their creative arts therapies modality to couples, individuals plus families and groups if desired. If you're applying with experience, or interest in a certain population, please note that. The therapist will assess client needs, develop treatment plans, document clinical progress, and coordinate care with other members of the multidisciplinary team. Therapist will also use Simple Practice, an electronic health record, to manage referrals, schedule clients and bill for services. Therapist will accept a mix of insurance and private pay. Additional responsibilities include weekly clinical supervision with AiC Clinical Director and option to participate in monthly group supervision amongst team and interdisciplinary community colleagues; team meetings; professional development trainings; and collaboration with community initiatives that support the mission of Arts in Counseling.
Part-time vs Full-time
Therapist may choose part-time or full-time
Part-time must work 2 days/week and coordinate schedule with AiC Clinical Director
For full-time, anticipate a 6-month ramp up to a full caseload. Full-time Therapist can design their schedule in coordination with AiC Clinical Director. Schedule must include one evening or weekend day. Full time is a W2 employee.
Preferred
Experience and training in couples therapy
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
