Group Therapy

Group Therapy in Hatboro, PA & Throughout Pennsylvania via Telehealth

Healing does not happen in isolation.

Many people arrive in therapy feeling alone in their experiences, believing they are the only person struggling with anxiety, grief, parenting stress, relationship challenges, identity questions, or life transitions.

Group therapy offers something individual therapy cannot always provide: the opportunity to learn, grow, reflect, and heal alongside others.

At Arts in Counseling, our groups combine clinical expertise with creativity, reflection, connection, and experiential learning. Participants often discover that hearing another person's story can reduce shame, increase perspective, and create a powerful sense of belonging.

Why Group Therapy?

Group therapy can help participants:

  • Feel less alone

  • Build meaningful connections

  • Learn from others' experiences

  • Practice new ways of relating

  • Develop coping skills

  • Increase self-awareness

  • Explore emotions in a supportive environment

  • Receive encouragement and feedback

  • Build confidence and resilience

Many participants are surprised to discover that some of the most meaningful moments occur when they realize someone else has experienced something similar.

Our Approach

At Arts in Counseling, groups may incorporate conversation, creativity, movement, reflection, experiential activities, psychoeducation, and community-building.

Some groups focus on skill-building.

Others focus on support, personal growth, identity, creativity, or specific life experiences.

You do not need artistic experience to participate in any of our groups.

We begin with the people in the room and create experiences that support learning, connection, and wellbeing.
